Everyone, I will only be online sporadically most of July. In the meantime, feel free to get 'big Stad' NPC'ed, killed, captured... whatever helps the plot and the game. I will come online from time to time, and in those brief periods, I will temporarily be reassuming control over him, okay?

Hmm, could we have one more post today then, maybe going into the town of kingsholm, then we could work on something over the holiday.

NO, Ilya, I know you guys will have issue getting to a machine during the summer but could make a quick post (e.g. NO was here) to make me feel better about you coming back full time after summer is over?

Sorry about that, didn't mean erratic to end up being none. My computer is back up and running again, working on rebuilding my bookmarks and all that fun stuff. The ending of this first chapter surprised me, I was expecting for us to either scare the villagers into giving Jukia back or get in a big climactic fight, now we have to go tromping through another dungeon to find our employer and express our displeasure.

Noda, sorry the first module ending disappointed you. Jukia is my creation and I wanted to have link between this module and the one we are doing. Alzk recruited you but Mallie and the barrow were your employer. I have also hinted that Zlak might not be the brain behind Jukia abduction. Now the two majors question I see is a) What is behind Zlak behavior? and b) Who exactly is Jukia the Heiress? I hope the answers will not disappoint you. I try to lead a certain way and over a 180 solution when possible. Hope my style of DMing and story telling still please you. Alain

Achinca, I'm guessing that a little something was lost in translation there... IMHO Noda is giving you praise for such a great twist in the ending of chapter 1. a finale that no-one expected (well i didn't see it coming and that was great! we all love to be surprised)
and in typical Noda humour, he is summarising chapter two for us in his straight-faced dark style. he's just young and giving you a back-handed compliment, the cheeky urchin!
that's why we all love him too.
arrrf!

Cal, you are probably right. I got overly sensitive with Noda. But I spend a lot of time on the game and I want to make every one is having a good time, because people qill keep playing if they have fun!!!! Alain

Ah, yeah, I could see how what I said could be taken the wrong way. It was just not what I was expecting.

I have to admit it is refreshing to have someone that can play a low level wizard and not have them hide from fight once they are out of magic missiles. Cal, you rule!

And nobody expects the dwarf to be the wizard, especially not wearing a dragon head and a poncho I imagine looking similar to The Man With No Name's.
I will be gone next week, I might be back in time to post on friday, but maybe not.
I updated Augustine (he already had enough xp to level, I didn't notice the 500 bonus for completing the module), his sheet will say all the changes, but in case you can't see it for some reason, HP: 20, AC: 17, +6 to hit and 1d8+1 damage with the longbow, he has precise shot now, as well as point blank shot.

Can I have a volunteer to run Augustine? Much more fun to have a player than me ignoring the character!
