currently i do not have an issue. i think the characters have been rather believable. for obvious reasons beyond the control of the DM, Miriam's character would have been better divulging her story over time but with an absent player it isn't Achinca's fault
in fact, the pace/tempo of the game has been turned up and the encounters are a bit more exciting. i can sense that we are getting closer to rescuing jukia and figuring out what all this is about
good work

Cal, thanks for the kind words. As you know, I am runnig WTOC modules with my own twist. Jukia was my own creation, as was Zlak. Jukia abduction was the link between the two modules. Miriam was a new character and as you know, the player left. So I decided to put soul inside that character and explain why Jukia was abducted. I could have done it over time but in PbP, giving information in bits and pieces often loose its power. At least, there is one big pos that summarize waht Miriam knows. IT also reduce the time spends with me posting and the PC having little to nothing to do. Regarding how close you are to rescuing Jukia and figuring this thing out, well only time will tell. Hope you are having as much fun as I am.

Yeah, that would be smart, detecting magic. We've run across so much armor and weapons we prob should have tried to detect some of it.

No, Ilya is actually my real name, although it was a good guess. It was originally the Russian Илья. Like Lenin's dad. I live in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium.
