Beginners' Game

Hi All,
I'd like to run a simple game on this site for people who have never played Dungeons and Dragons before, or who have never played it online.

If you've never played before then I'd highly recommend buying the Player's Handbook, although it won't be essential, as I'll help you with any rules questions you may have.
The Player's Handbook can be bought from Games shops, online bookstores such as Amazon, and of course there's always eBay.

Anyway, I digress.
This will be a level 1 game. I'd like to have around 4 players. Priority will be given to new players, but it would be nice to have one or two players who've played before as I feel that would be beneficial to the newbies.

If anyone else is thinking of joining, Dragonscales is playing a half-elven Rogue, so bear this in mind when choosing your race and class.

This game will be starting once amiablesnowman finishes his character (hopefully this weekend). I know two players isn't a lot, but I think we've waited long enough. If anyone still wants to join it's not too late, I'll find a way to work you into the story.

Edit: Lo and behold the game filled up at the last minute. I'm now not taking anymore players for this game.
Hopefully more games coming in the future....
